Witness on the Sixth Anniversary of the Iraq War

Fulfill the Promise—End the Occupation

Saturday, March 21st., 10a.m.- 2 p.m. Boston Common (see below)

We will gather on the Boston Common to read the names of US and Iraqi war dead.

The commemorative reading will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.

The commemoration will include short statements, prayers, poetry, and music.

Come to all or part of the event. Rain or Shine.

# Over 4,300 US troops killed and over one million Iraqis dead.
# 5 million displaced people and refugees.
# $1-3 TRILLION spent that has helped create the current economic crisis.
# The US invasion and illegal occupation has been a deadly, costly disaster.

President Obama has inherited the task of ending responsibly the immoral war he opposed.

We gather to honor and grieve the dead, to say no to war, and to advocate for the reconstruction of Iraq, and for our returning troops who need healthcare and jobs.
