Trainings and Clinics to Help Haitians Apply for TPS Scheduled

Become trained in how to help Haitians complete applications for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and fee waivers. Nancy Kelly, an immigration attorney at the Greater Boston Legal Services, will lead the trainings, which are open to all. These trainings are being provided as preparation for volunteers to work at upcoming clinics, including the sessions scheduled for February in Cambridge and Somerville, Mass.

In-person Trainings

*Saturday, February 20, 10–11:30 a.m. at Harvard Law School, Room 102, Hauser Hall (map available)

* Thursday, February 25, 5–6:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee office, 689 Massachusetts Ave., 2nd floor (the Citizens Bank Building in Central Square, Cambridge).

Webinar Trainings

Clinics

At these clinics, trained volunteers will help people fill out applications for TPS and fee waivers.

* Saturday, March 6, 11 am–3:00 p.m., at the Haitian Coalition in West Somerville (exact address and directions will be provided upon RSVP).

* Sunday, March 7, 2:00–4:00 p.m., location to be determined.
